Rec N' Roll

Summer 2021

It's Back!  Beginning June 15th and ending August 19th, the Rec N’ Roll program will be visiting six different Fridley parks on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s throughout the summer.  The goal of this program is to provide youth with FREE recreational activities in their local parks. Rec N’ Roll activities will include sports, games, crafts and activities for a variety of ages.

Rec N' Roll will visit two parks a day from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. & 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.  Check the Summer 2021 schedule to see what time we'll be at the park closest to you!

Fridley Parks and Recreation Staff will be present for instruction and supervision during the program.  Activities will be designed to accommodate social distancing in accordance with state guidelines, during this continued COVID-19 pandemic.

NEW to Rec N' Roll this Summer!

Over the past year, the City of Fridley has revamped an old fire vehicle for this program—we call it our “Rec N’ Roll mobile”.  This vehicle is equipped with everything we will need to keep the fun rolling through the summer. Including a sound system and all the craft and game supplies needed for this program.

Keep an eye out for this vehicle for up coming programs.  If you see this truck, fun can't be too far away!
