The Fridley Police Explorers program is made up of teens ages 14 to 18 who train on a variety of law enforcement topics and scenarios, while the Fridley Police Reserve Unit consists of people (ages 20+) who assist sworn police officers.

EAB confirmed in Fridley; treat your trees

Emerald Ash Borer tunnels in an ash tree

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture confirmed an emerald ash borer (EAB) infestation in the City of Fridley on May 7. EABs are an invasive insect pest that quickly kill ash trees by tunneling under the bark and obstructing the flow of nutrients.
