Fridley Fire provides fire suppression, emergency medical, hazardous materials response, fire prevention and inspection, and community education and outreach.

Average Response Time:
4-5 minutes for medical emergencies and 5-7 minutes for fires.

We service over 2,500 calls per year, approximately 1,600 of those are medical.

Station 1 is the main headquarters for the fire department and all city staff. The fire department is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a years. The main station has full-time staff 6am-6pm 7 days a week and administration Monday through Friday. Paid on-call firefighters work on shift at the station evening and overnight.

Station 1 has 6 drive thru bays with heated floors for the winter months and air evac system for exhaust. Day to day operations are conducted on the main level office area. A training/meeting room, and skills training area are located on second level.
Living quarters on the second level consist of bedrooms, kitchen, and quiet space.
